I welcome you to submit a story on your experiences as a citizen diplomat. By volunteering abroad, for example, or by hosting an exchange student in your home, you have helped ensure that people around the world see who Americans really are, so they can understand the diverse, hard-working, generous spirit of the American people. It’s more important than ever that Americans work to dispel negative misperceptions about the United States.
